We have made the decision to move to be walking only for the golf course at the Keweenaw Mountain Lodge at this time and going forward. This is earlier than our 2028 deadline.
We are currently walking only this season (2026) due to the lack of rain / water (started earlier this month – early July). Having players walk the golf course this month has confirmed that walking is the game of golf (not riding a golf cart).
So going forward, we are permanently a walking-only golf course. This is in alignment with our hickory | natural fairways | walking focus at the Lodge for the golf course.
If you have permanent disability, you are able to use a golf cart to play the course. Documentation from an accredited medical doctor indicating the permanent disability needs to be provided greater than 14 days ahead of one’s tee time.
