2019 Keweenaw Photo Contest Winners

In March 2019, the Lodge requested photos from our Facebook and Instagram followers to help with decorating the cabins and hotel with photos of the Keweenaw; this was part of our 2019  photo contest . We were not sure what to expect, but the posts on our social media proved to be more popular than we could have imagined.

We received 240 submissions, which we narrowed down to photos that satisfied the criteria set forth in the contest rules, leaving us with 189 submissions. Our staff took the time to review each of the photos and vote for our favorites. Once we were left with 45 images, our resident art connoisseurs made final selections of the images that we thought best showcased the beauty and history of the Keweenaw Peninsula.  It was a tough process to have to say no to many of the interesting and wonderful photos.

That said, here are our 2019 winners! A few of these photographers have more than one photo that was selected. If you see your name below, we have already emailed you; so please check there for more information. We want to offer a huge thanks to all of you who submitted!
