Getting There

Arriving by Car

The Keweenaw Mountain Lodge is 1 mile from Copper Harbor, Michigan. Copper Harbor has the distinction of being the furthest city in the continental USA from any interstate highway.

If you are coming from southeast and southwest Michigan, it is a 10-hour drive to the Lodge. If you are driving from the Mackinac Bridge, it is a 5.5-hour drive. If you are coming from Chicago, it is a 8-hour drive to the Lodge. Houghton and Hancock are about an hour drive from the Lodge.  The closest city to the Lodge is Copper Harbor, which is 1 mile away from the Lodge.

Arriving by Plane

The Keweenaw Mountain Lodge is approximately one hour from the Houghton County Memorial airport.

Rental Car

You can rent a car at the airport. The two car rental providers at the airport are Alamo Car Rental and National Rental Car.

Shuttle to/from the Airport

We do have airport transfers, with a shuttle able to pick you up.  You will need to reserve the shuttle at least 2 days in advance.  The fee each way per person is $45. For shuttle reservations, call 906-289-4403, ext 1.
