Run the Keweenaw

Run the Keweenaw is a series of trail running races held in Eagle
Harbor and Copper Harbor in mid-July. The event has been going on for
over 15 years, and is currently a fund raising event for the the Copper
Country Ski Tigers youth cross-country ski club. Ski Tigers provides
learn to ski and competitive training programs for youth 5-18 in Baraga,
Houghton and Keweenaw counties.

On July 14th, part of the race will run across the Lodge property.

The trail running festival will use the driveway into the Keweenaw Mountain   Lodge and the two-track cart path along the woods from the lodge parking
lot to the Red Trail entrance. These sections of road and trail are part
of the 25 km event held on Sunday, July 14, between 10 am and 12 noon.
