In 2021, the Keweenaw Mountain Lodge became the title sponsor of the trails festival that is organized by the Copper Harbor Trails Club, and has happened since 1994 each Labor Day weekend. The Lodge stepped in to become the title sponsor during uncertain times in 2020-2021. The prior sponsor, Bell Brewery, was reevaluating public events at the time, and with the trail system in the Lodge’s backyard, it made sense to become the title sponsor of the Trails Club’s main event. We were the title sponsors for two year: 2021 and 2022, which ensured that the festival continued forward with the necessary support.
