Golf Carts, Tempo Walks, Pull Carts: The use of all golf carts and pull carts are subject to weather conditions and is made on a daily basis by our head golf course superintendent. This decision is a basis on creating the best playing conditions for those on the golf course on the day and also the health and safety of those on the golf course.

With the usage of the golf carts, each golfer agrees to return immediately upon completion of play the golf cart he/she used, and do so in the same condition as it was received (normal wear being accepted). Each golfer that rents a cart agrees to pay damages that are sustained to the cart due to the golfer’s use.

The golf carts are not off-road vehicles, and thus should stay within the tree-line or on a designated path. If you are found driving the carts in the woods not on the designated path, you will be given one warning. The second occurrence will warrant taking the cart, and you will finish your round walking.

Golfers agree to hold KML harmless and to defend KML from any and all claims for damages of any nature, whether to myself or others that my arise from or through the use of the golf cart. To drive a golf cart, you must has a valid driver’s license.

Pace of Play: All golf is played in four balls and each 9-hole round of golf should be completed within 2 hours and 15 minutes. Slow play must be avoided at all times. A roaming marshal monitors the pace of play on each golf course and KML reserves the right to ask players to speed up: in extreme circumstances golfers will be asked to pick up and walk a hole in order to stay on time. The decision of the roaming marshal is final.

No Outside Alcohol: Alcohol must be purchased in the bar or from the Little Cabin Cafe. Our liquor license does not let outside alcohol to be drank on the golf course. This policy will be STRICTLY ENFORCED, if you are caught with outside beverages you will be immediately asked to leave the premises. ALSO, you are not able to bring outside alcohol on property unless you are staying in a cabin, and are drinking in or near the cabin you are staying in. It is state LAW that outside alcohol is not allowed other than in and around the cabin you are staying in.

Adding 9-holes to your first 9-holes to complete an 18-hole round of golf: We are a 9-hole golf course. To complete an 18-hole round of golf at the Lodge you can play the course twice for an 18-hole round. You can pay the green fee for 9-holes, and if you decide to play a 2nd nine holes to complete an 18-hole round, you can pay the difference at the turn.  If you play 9-holes, and then leave the golf course, and come back later in the day to play another 9-holes you will be charged the full 9-hole green fee rate (and cart rental if you rent a cart).
