From tee to green, Hole No. 6 has a variety of challenging features sure to challenge you for par. A rolling and sloping fairway narrows into the only water hazard on the golf course – creating a tight approach to a large, tiered green.
The elevated men’s tee box is located near the Pro shop, practice green and main Lodge entrance. The women’s tee is slightly ahead and to the left.
Water for the golf course is pumped through a pipeline and travels over a mile from Lake Superior to the water hazard. A second pump draws water from the hazard to various irrigation lines throughout the golf course.
HOLE TIP:
For the best approach to the green, setup your second shot from the right side of the fairway. Playing from the left fairway will take the water hazard out of play, but your second shot will have to carry over trees to the green. Stay below the pin!
