[ Make a Lodging Reservation ]
Welcome to the historic Keweenaw Mountain Lodge. The Lodge is a privately-owned WPA-era wilderness resort at the top of the Keweenaw that is open year-round for cabin guests. We are a quiet place, Audubon International Green Lodging establishment, and an international dark sky park with a focus of getting people closer to nature. The history of the Lodge dates back to 1934, and is on the state and national historic registers.
We are a lodging establishment, with historic rustic log cabins, supported by outdoor activities, rustic worldly food, and education. Come stay with us in our log cabins, enjoy the outdoor activities on the property and in the area, and eat a rustic worldly meal. You can also attend one of our events at the Lodge. We focus on providing a wilderness experience that gets you closer to nature — and do not be surprised if you learn something during your experience, as we interweave educational opportunities when living the Lodge team values.
For accommodations, the resort has 24 cabins, with 27 units (three of the cabins have 2 units in them). We have 3-bedroom and 2-bedroom cabins, with several 1-bedroom cabins, situated in the wilderness. The cabins are lined along the first hole of the golf course and the forest.

The resort sits in the wilderness in a beautiful part of the country. Our location at the top of the Keweenaw allows for individuals to enjoy many outdoor activities for all four seasons of the year. These outdoor activities include mountain biking, golfing, and hiking / trail running in the warmer months, and snowshoeing and cross-country skiing during the snowy months. As well, provide a hub for fall color exploring and bird watching at the top of the Keweenaw. And year-round, we provide opportunities for stargazing being that we are the headquarters for the Keweenaw Dark Sky Park.

Special Projects
We are continually working on projects at the Lodge. These projects allow us to stay fresh as a team and continue to improve and move into the future at the top of the Keweenaw. If we are successful in marrying history with the future, we will be able to live in a vibrant and progressive present. To keep people up to date on what we are doing (and what we have done), we provide information on these projects.
