A learning environment is more than just a classroom — it is a space in which individuals are supported in their pursuit of knowledge and inspired by their surroundings.
The Learning Room in the Education Center at the Lodge houses a library of resources and exhibits, along with hands-on informational and educational stations. Contrast to the Class Room where formal teaching takes place, the Learning Room focuses on self-learning. The Learning Room is an active learning space where each one of us is a student, and active in learning — engaged.
Learning spaces extend well beyond the four walls of the Lodge. After spending time in the Class Room and the Learning Room, head out to the Nature Room — outside.
