Stargazing: Geminids Meteor Shower

The Geminids Meteor Shower has a large number of meteors per hour, with up to 120 multicolored meteors per hour at its peak. This meteor shower is a result of debris left behind by the 3200 Phaethon asteroid. Note: There might be a distraction with the moon and it's light during these nights.

The Leonids is a meteor shower that produces around 15 meteors per hour, but can be intense as these meteors can fall at rates as high as 50,000 per hour (source: space.com).  Note: A full moon might be in the sky these nights, which might detract from viewing the meteors.
