Stargazing: International Dark Sky Week

April 5-12, 2021 is International Dark Sky Week. There are multiple events happening around the world to show appreciation for having the ability to look up and see the stars above us. There are multiple viewing areas at the Lodge and around the tip of the Keweenaw.

International Dark Sky Week is organized by the International Dark Sky Association. The association works to protect the night skies for present and future generations. The Keweenaw Mountain Lodge is applying to be a Dark Sky Park, Keweenaw Dark Sky Wilderness, so many people can enjoy looking up and seeing as many stars as possible. Learn more:
