Stargazing: Draconids Meteor Shower

The Draconids is a minor meteor shower. It will produce around 10 meteors per hour.

While this meteor shower is not a large meteor shower, it is a meteor shower that would be good for families with small children as it can be viewed in the early evening (as opposed to the early morning hours).

Monitor the skies between October 6 and October 10, with the peak display predicted to be on October 7 — because of the new moon on October 7th.
