This past Friday, November 1st, we hosted our November 2024 Northern Lights Photography Workshop at the Lodge. We had 23 attendees, all cabin guests.
Nate Bett led the workshop. He spent the first part of the lecture talking about what the Northern Lights are, and why they happen. Then during the 2nd part of the lecture he talked about trip preparation, photo composition, and camera settings. Throughout the lecture he showed specific examples of photos that he has taken which highlight each of the points he expressed to the attendees.
The weather was conducive to go out and take photos after the lecture. So Nate spent time outside with attendees walking the property / park, and answering questions about specific cameras / camera settings.
