This past Sunday, October 2nd, we hosted our October 2024 Northern Lights Photography Workshop at the Lodge. We had 9 attendees, 3 of them were cabin guests and 6 were non-lodging guests.
Nate Bett led the workshop. Nate arrived a little late, as he was stuck doing something down south. We ended up starting a little after 7:30pm, and concluded the lecture portion of the workshop 10:10pm.
The weather was not conducive to go out and take photos after the lecture. So Nate spent time answering questions about specific cameras and camera settings after his lecture.
This month, October, is what we estimated would be the peak of the solar flare activity of the sun. So we are looking forward to seeing more northern lights later this month.
