SUMMARY:2024 Perseid Meteor Shower Viewing Party
DESCRIPTION:[ Read: Perseid Meteor Shower Party 2024 Recap ] \nJoin the OAC team on Hole 4 of the golf course for a Perseid Meteor Shower viewing party. Please feel free to bring lawn chairs and/or blankets.  Between 50 – 100 meteors per hour are predicted after midnight.  \n \nMeet at the OAC at 11:00pm to walk out to the viewing area on Hole 4 of the golf course. Please see map below.. \nWe suggest bringing warm clothing\, a red flashlight\, bug spray and a good attitude. In 2023 it was cloudy at the start of the event and then cleared up for a spectacular show. Please note the the grass did get wet with dew during last year’s event.
