DESCRIPTION:The Keweenaw Mountain Lodge is hosting Gary Marquardt as part of our Guest Chef program. As part of the program\, he will be preparing a meal consisting of French Charcuterie cuisine on Wednesday\, September 29th. It will be a 3-course dinner with two-seatings: 6pm & 7:30pm. \nReservations required. Call 906-289-4403\, ext 3  \n$100 / person \n \nMenu\nThe meal that Chef Gary will be preparing is a 3-course French-influenced selection. View and download the menu below. \n \n[ Download the Guest Chef’s menu in PDF format ] \nDrinks: \nThe appetizer / salad is paired with an alcoholic drink\, as is your selected entree (a beer or a wine). A glass of each is included in the price (i.e. two alcoholic drinks are included in the price). \nFountain soda\, drip coffee\, and hot tea is provided in the price. \nAbout Gary Marquardt\nGary is a certified executive chef (CEC) from southeast Michigan with over 40 years of experience in the kitchen. He is a culinary graduate of Schoolcraft College and has taken additional classes at the Culinary Institute of America. He is a two-time semi-finalist in the prestigious Bocuse d’Or International Culinary Competition. Chef Gary has won numerous awards in his field\, including many for his ice sculptures. \nHis experiences include being Executive Chef at several clubs and hotels and the University of Michigan. Currently\, Chef Gary is teaching culinary classes at Washtenaw Community College\, where he was nominated for Chef Instructor of the year. He is also an American Culinary Federation (ACF) culinary evaluator. \nChef Gary has an interest in innovative modern takes on classic dishes and charcuterie\, always looking for creative ways to update his menus. He is always looking to further and evolve his skills and techniques. \nChef Gary is very excited to prepare French Charcuterie cuisine as a guest chef at Keweenaw Mountain Lodge.  \n  \n
